Safe Society

It is community that is considered as continuous and long-term program of harm pursuit for various people, genders environments and success, which emphasizes vulnerable groups and environments.

This community consists of a set of governmental and non-governmental international, public and provide organizations, that work together in partnership.

These programs continuously document the frequency and causes on injuries are evaluated with predetermined indicators, and this regard, encourage local national and international cooperation.

The indicators of the safety society program are: creating and organization based on partnership and cooperation between the departments each of which accepts the responsibility of the safe community in its area of authority.

Therefore we need continuous long-term programs that cover both sexes and all ages and different environments.

Existence of programs that aim to improve the safety of at-risk groups and programs that record and document the number of incidents.

Also, the existence of an ovulation system to review and evaluate the programs, their stages and the impact of the changes that have been made and continuous and timely participation in the international safe Society Network are among the indicators of this program.

At the Almaty Summit in kazakhstan  during the  former Soviet Union,  health was recognized as a basic human right, and UN member states  pledged to  ensure the health of all human beings, and in fact, after this summit, Sweden was the first country to join the safety Society Network  by adding the  word safety as a fundamental  human right to  the charter of health .

After building a model of a Secure r Society and implementing it in the municipality of  Falkoping, Sweden, it  took the first step in launching  a global network for the exchange of knowledge between    safe communities.

In this regard ,1986 cooperation with the world Health Organization recognized  the beginning of the barrier and after a  meeting in Sweden in 1989 and  since 1991, the annual conference of this  association have been held and  today many scientific centres around the world are working on this issue.

The city of Sweden was introduced to the world as a successful example of a safe  society, and in 1991 the first world conference on safe communities was held in  Stockholm, Sweden, and a safety plague  and a safe community were awarded to the world first safe City.(Falkoping)

Safety and health protection   in the most important goal of forming  a safe society, which operates under the  auspices  of the world Health Organization and with the aim of preventing micro urban  accidents such as reducing  the rate of accidents air pollution and similar to cases.

School safety, traffic, work environment, the elderly, mosques, child safety, hospitals, public places and homes are among  the safe community programs that need to be put on this city safety agenda.
